Whatever You’re Doing Right Now is Perfect.

For months I've been saying we're in this together. I'm still me. Although, apparently some of my friends just realized I am black, the way they’re acting brand new.

Be that as it may, what I've committed to in this moment is calling forth an agenda.⠀

Let's set being right aside and get clear on the vision, mission, and strategy. Whoever isn't on board by now should be left behind. Simple.⠀

I say we move to establish rules of engagement for racists in our society. Chances are they will still exist. We can appeal to their hearts and minds but we can't undo their experience. It's up to them to make a choice if they want to participate in what we say goes. ⠀

It's time to get started on a new strategy. The good news is, you're in the perfect position to start wherever you are!⠀

Phase 1 - "The Confronters"

This is where we dismantle! Anything that doesn't work must be removed. Phase one happens on the battlefield - we call it the front lines. It's the passion and pouring out of emotion. It's the initial thrust of momentum. If you were in phase one, you were likely part of the protests and you're called to confront resistance.

FRONT LINE, hold steady for as long as you can. You're doing an amazing job! Ya'll got these streets looking like it’s 1963. You have all of my respect. Please be sure to look out for one another on all sides. Safety first!⠀

Phase 2 - "The Builders"

This is where we organize, strategize, and create initiatives. This is where the laws and processes are called into question. Anything that doesn't work requires a new system and standard of governance. Communication, education, and reform is the weaponry here.

Let's go get it in these strategy sessions. USE YOUR VOICE. Be watchful for opportunities. Fact check EVERYTHING. I'm calling for panel discussions on Live. Let's be on our way to the board rooms, ballot boxes, and inside capital buildings. Sign every petition and move your money accordingly. We are the advisory board and executive committee. The communicators and facilitators.

Phase 3 - "The Restorers"

This is where we go to rest. We must learn from our wise counselors how to sustain our energy. The healers live here. They bring us back to center, guiding us in spirit and truth. Phase three is still a long way off. I have a feeling you'll need to provide healing and mend broken hearts. Not to mention there is another generation coming behind us to consider. How will the story be told? Keep meditating and praying. Build up the reserve of sage, crystals, and salves. Store up ALL the energy. There is so much work to be done. Rest assured that they are with us on this journey.

Healers, use your love and light to cast out the darkness. Surround us with your energy and pray for our protection at all times.

There is another phase that I can't see yet. I imagine we'll all be called to the same purpose, something bigger than we can envision. I trust it to be revealed at the perfect time when we have become one.

For now, let's continue what we're doing. Each and every contributor is vitally important.
